Tried a number of searches here but couldn’t find an answer. What is the recommendatoin re charging while away on an extended vacation. Simply, should I leave the vehicle plugged in while I’m away.

Reasonably optioned (for a Porsche) turbo: $122K. Not too bad given Porsche quality and service (this for a 30 year Porsche owner). Too bad I don’t really need one. Guess I’l wait for the e-Boxster.
Okay, we can get this rolling ASAP as a carpet mat. We do offer 'seat down' carpet cargo covers, but individual for each seat section. Sounds like you all want '3rd row down AND rear cargo as ONE mat", right? - standby...., we can make that...
I’d also love to see an option for the R1S for a cargo mat that covers the whole area with the 3rd row seats flat, and I’d like to see more about how the R1S tailgate mat integrates with the cargo mat when opening and closing the gate.

Nope, just got a call from a Rivian rep (not my guide) telling me they had a vehicle with (almost - the wheels had to be swapped) my configuration rolling off the assembly line. I received a VIN right after I hung up the phone.
