Mine started doing that and it ended up being due to a loose hydraulic line from the factory. It eventually errored out and didn't let me change the suspension. After that service though its been pretty good since. I echo what everyone else said here though, Rivian air suspension isn't...
We just finished our 1800mi west coast road trip for our protection sports training. We fit three dogs in intermediate and large Rufflands, a spare tired, an iceco fridge for their raw food (they're spoiled af), and all the gear. This is exactly why we needed a bigger vehicle so I'm happy it...
They've mentioned they'll implement it, its just a matter of time. Personally I wish my Tesla would get more of Rivian's blindspot features such as the sound when you turn on the blinker and someone's there. In the Y you have to look over so far to see the blindspot camera I sometimes don't even...
This, I feel like it'll be an SUV that competes in the Subaru space, where Rivian is already popular; Colorado, Washington, etc.
I think this will be an SUV only, no truck. My reasoning is the value prop for a cheaper small EV truck isn't there with the current pricing. A Maverick-sized truck...
Two so far; front right damper and "kinetic system" failed, and another appointment on the books to fix the extreme speaker rattle. Only one month in, so I'm hoping its only up hill from here
I've seen your posts about the suspension issues and I don't blame you. We went with the same route. Love EVs, but we need a reliable commuter thats a bit more efficient, so we have a Model Y as well. Although if they go with coil springs or something simpler in the R2, we might be moving to...
Rear diff is the only advantage I can see here over the Rivian. Also what was the pull test? with similar horsepower, and similar tires, the Cybertruck shouldn't have pulled twice the distance? Also that range is so disappointing, you can't hype the towing if you cant even hit 400mi of range
Running into suspension issues too just from driving in the city. We had a trip with some offroading planned this weekend, but had to scrap those plans. To be honest, I'm a bit worried about taking my R1S on "adventures" given the reliability issues.
I'd get it checked or at least log it. Mine made what sounds like a similar noise, a loud clicking then almost a knocking and a day later I have the "service suspension" error message and it's undrivable until my service appointment a month out.
That's awesome! We have two Rufflands right now but wanted something bigger for when we carry large client dog for my partner's business. This would be perfect!
Which model of Transk9 is this? Our old one unfortunately didn't fit properly. Does this one slide in from the back fully despite the lip? And do you have the second row up still?
Same here with my 2 week old R1S. Service appointment isn't until the end of February, so we'll see if there's a fix. Hopefully its livable for the next 4 months.
How long ago? I'm hearing that it might be due to supply chain issues. This is a good suggestion though, maybe I can get that added to my service appointment 4 months from now.
Has anyone had any luck ordering a full-size spare? I keep getting the run around saying it's "incompatible" with the R1S... yes it doesn't fit in the compartment like the R1T, but a lot of us want a full-size spare for offroading. Even the R1S promo videos show a full-size spare on the roof...
