If you are noticing this towards the bottom of the windshield it is possible that you have a "warped" trim piece. I go in next week to have this replaced; whistle noise from ~ 30-50mph. Not noticeable at low or high speeds.
The black trim piece sits at the bottom of the windshield, take a look...
Yea I dropped a key in the black hole, not only could I not fit my hand next to it (I could see the key) when I started finagling with the seat up/down/forward/back to gain access it slipped underneath the seat....oh well glad I have a spare!
I have the Kia bidirectional charger; like this one
Am I to assume this would work w/the Rivian? I think the answer is no b/c aside from hardware which may/may not be capable, there is no software option to put "power out" (V2L)....
EXACTLY! I expected it to be retractable, even if there was a small box needed for the addition. Why it took so long for these "pieces" is beyond me...
Yes, from my understanding the frontloader weighs a little less, has a slightly smaller footprint but also can not support as much weight as the highroad. The highroad also has the updated "clicky" knob to tighten. The Yakima Australian site has a good write up of how they compare...
On sale for $149.99 at many sites; I like backcountry (link below)

Just finished a 500 mile trip w/2 of these bed mounted; mostly interstate driving. Slight shakes from wind but extremely solid and easy to use. I researched like crazy...
Just received and installed my "B Stock" cover from @Bf3 ; I am absolutely pleased and overly impressed by the product. My Rivian Guide screwed me over on the manual cover (would now cost a ludicrous $1800). I don't have a fancy gun bag for it but it is extremely robust and overly easy to put...
This is not the case. My pre-order had the powered tonneau which Rivian automatically changed to the manual. When my truck was built my guide recommended that he remove the manual cover as they did not yet have an eta and my delivery could be scheduled, I obviously said yes go ahead. Reached out...
Yea but at their current price point ~$180 to return is prob worth the gamble. Unfortunately b/c of the build and shipping time it wouldn't be here in time for me next week, I wish I'd found this out a week ago! I'll most likely be going w/a temporary DIY solution.
