Agreed. I just got my R1T and I notice a big difference in efficiency on a half-hour trip to town vs coming back. The truck sits outside most of the time so the battery is relatively cold to start.
I'm a 7/21 preorder Blue R1T on 20AT. Was originally Max pack but switched to large and got a Jan-Feb 23 time frame. No get ready contacts yet. I figure a lot is depending on the local SC (Franklin, TN) getting open (supposedly any day now).
Ugh, that scares me. I've had the issues with wiring on my vehicles that are outside from squirrels and I don't have room in the garage for my Rivian when it comes.
Stopped by the Franklin, TN service center yesterday to see how it was shaping up. Doesn't look quite ready to open but they are actively working on the lobby and exterior. Could see hoists in the back service area as they had a garage door open.

I was in Franklin, TN yesterday and stopped by the future service center to see what progress may of been made. Didn't appear to be a lot but they do have a sign up along the road and inside the building. I didn't look into the back service area. Outside of the building still needs sprucing up.
Definitely oil/coal friendly. But to be fair, it is so sparsely populated that it would be quite the challenge to get EV chargers every 50 miles outside the interstates. Even on the interstates could be a challenge.

As a amateur woodworker, I like to use white non-woven scrub pads to buff out a finish on wood. These are finer than the typical blue and green pads that are more commonly found in stores. I find they can smooth out dust nibs without leaving metal bits that steel wool can.
