WOW, that is a HUGE price cut!
Feel bad for all the existing owners that just had the value of their existing cars slashed.
Tesla's pricing got out of whack. It did back around 2017/2018 as well. At one point, a fully optioned Model S was around $170,000. Then they slashed prices.
They...
Oh wow, didn't realize they had other designs. Guess I need to look a little closer.
My current mat just has ribbed strips the run the length of the bed. The photos you provided above look better. I wouldn't mind just a solid surface of rubber with no strips / patterns / etc.
Wondering how the...
Do love the fit. My only concern was with how much those hexagons will collect dirt. Let us know your thoughts on it after having it in there for a little while. If not bad, will likely order one. Been waiting for some customer feedback first.
Probably prefer the slotted design more, but went with the logos (square's). With 1EV having reduced how many of them there are, they look far less busy now. My deciding factor however, is that they have very thin cutouts versus the slots being bigger holes. Guessing, the logo design will not...
I was a pre-March order holder. I cancelled my order.
Many can never say for sure if they wouldn't because they weren't actually faced with that choice to make. Easy to say no now. But would you really have passed on the opportunity to own the most unique truck or SUV on the road, especially...
First thing I would do is tell Rivian Service, because they can't get you in for 70 days, you're going to return the truck instead since you can't gamble away the return option after 7 days. It "might" bring a sense of urgency to the service center to get you in ASAP.
Fortunately, haven't...
I tried one of these (link posted by "Thedude") and still had issues.
Got this instead "(link posted below) and it worked. The Rivian is very sensitive to the power it intakes and the power it outputs.

My most notable "surprise" was with the overall ride quality. Especially over speed bumps. I don't even slow down for them anymore. Other than a little "thump thump", don't even feel them when going over them.
The rest, pretty much expected after spending at least a full year reading and...
Got the truck back today. All appears to be good. Will check the front suspension tomorrow, but it had been sitting at Rivian for a few hours and was still and full-height when I arrived.
Truck is alive and well again!
And now have two functional key fobs.
I posted a detailed post regarding...
I've used RAN chargers twice. Perfect both times. Only used it this last time because the EA chargers failed. Made it to Barstow with just 3% remaining.
If you use the EA chargers, stick to the 150 kw chargers rather than the 350 kw. Especially in cold weather. I tried it and got errors each...
In speaking with the service center, got the impression that the overtightening is relatively common issue. Likely robots in the factory were set to the wrong torque setting for a period time? Wouldn't be surprised if yours turns out to be the same issue. But then again, could be a leak anywhere...
Four months sucks. Glad they got you scheduled sooner.
Product of being early adopters. This is the primary reason why many first day order holders are still waiting for their trucks. They don't want to deliver to locations they can't adequately service.
Will take time for them to build it...
Had these details posted in another thread that started off about getting key fobs programmed. As these issues have and likely will happen to others, am creating a separate more concise thread just for these two items. While coincidental that they came at the same time the truck was being...
Does it have a powered tonneau cover? If not, then you know for sure it's not an early build. As others have stated, sounds like a 2023 reset. Congrats.
I'm still glad I went with the truck over the SUV. If you don't need 7 seats and/or don't take dogs with you on a regular basis, the "need"...
Still hadn't heard from Rivian so called them today. As I assumed, they did replace the GCM and the truck is alive and well again. They were just waiting for the Air Suspension parts to come in, which they expect this afternoon. Might have the truck back by this evening.
