22,000mi and it's definitely the biggest complaint. I can do it, I'm very good at it, but it's not natural. Keeping your foot on the pedal with pressure while something ahead of you is requiring you to slow down, is not a good way to drive. It's also pretty often that I naturally jerk my foot...
Here in Texas, I spend close to $600 per year in gas tax on my truck, not to mention my other vehicles. So $200 is not bad at all, especially when you look at other states. Owning an EV in Texas is not painful nor do I feel this is punitive.
This weekend my wife and I both noticed this and tried many attempts. When you lift off the brake pedal, there is a very noticeable delay before all the power is applied. Definitely not from getting used to the power.
Probably already mentioned, but the app now shows superchargers in NY live, and a few in California as well. Hopefully they add at a faster rate than the RAN to the middle of the country.
I don't know how this is supposed to work, but I downloaded the Tesla app and clicked on charge a non Tesla car for info. The map supposedly shows chargers that are available to non Tesla vehicles. Pretty much none in between cities, so no help on trips. Oh well.
Have one in the frunk of the R1S also for the same reason. Wife doesn't want the plates on till the temp tag expires anyway. The SnapPlate fits great and is the perfect solution to not drilling and easy on and off.
From what I can tell.... earliest production R1S will be the ones with under body protection. But if we learned anything from the T, everything is subject to change based on how ramp up goes. Some colors may take longer, some options may take longer, interior colors, etc. Some of us have been...
I'm older now, so factory wheels are more my style, but I can't stand to have wheels tucked inside the fenders. Wheel spacers are a must to get them at least flush. Those are not the best looking wheels but they are not terrible and I would imagine at a normal ride height, would look quite good...
I can't believe how little info is out there on the S. Wife needs it. I can't get any info on when I can get my lightning (1st day preorder), so I just sit and wait. Nothing else that can replace either of those, so I just sit and wait. And I check here and there for some hope of info, but...
I had the same thought as I pulled up, but I'm assuming these are part of their demo fleet and not new builds so they probably have some for show and display reasons. I was also surprised that they were all launch green. You would think they would save those for customers. There were other color...
Today there were a handful of trucks with manufacturer plates. I was told that they are there to start doing the personal drives, whatever they're called. Probably within two weeks.
I'm not sure how many of you haven't been inside an R1 yet, I sat in one for the 1st time a week ago. BM was not near as dark as I had thought and I then switched to BM from OC. I am a little worried about a white interior as well. The main reason I switched was to avoid any delays. I only...
Just wanted to create a place for Houston area info. I stopped by the service center yesterday and there were about 10 trucks inside having delivery prep done, so there should be some happy people, soon. Niger came out and let me check out his black truck. I was in a hurry and he was busy, so I...
Can't get past the higher center of gravity....and reduced range due to aerodynamics....I'm dying. We are talking about putting a bunch of stuff up top right?
