This whole "anything but a Rivian-provided adapter can damage your vehicle" is BS. Really? So if a Ford EV owner lends me their adapter that's gonna damage the vehicle? The Ford adapter and the Rivian adapter are 100% identical and both are manufactured by Tesla.

Are you connecting the adapter in the correct order? We have to connect it to the cable first.
