  3. PAAK vs Card vs Key Fob -- what do you use?

Take delivery of R1S this Saturday and coming from a Tesla Y, I just assumed this adventure branded tech company would have Bluetooth watch-as-key feature. Reading through this, what a complete bummer. I bike and run a lot and it's gonna feel like going back in the stone ages having to carry a...
  4. A2Z NACS To CCS1 Adapter Review

Me too. I'm sure they are flooded with orders now. Everyone is realizing that with Rivian shipments not even beginning until mid-April, it's going to be a while before we get a freebie. The convenience of the Supercharger network - even today in its beginning role out phase (for all) - is too...
  5. Article: How do I get free Rivian-approved NACS DC adapter? Shipping in April!

I am picking my R1S up on March 23rd. I asked my contact if I could get the NACS adapter then and he said no, and that "adapters will begin to be shipped starting in mid-April to all customers." Thank you! Yes, I see that the one I linked can handle the rare Tesla HPWC (80amp). Was thinking might as well be safe as I have encountered some over the years at hotels and the like (without having to worry about manually reducing amp).
  8. A2Z NACS To CCS1 Adapter Review

Geesh, all these adapters are gonna get expensive! Thanks for the fast reply. After some quick Googling, it looks like this may be the best option for AC charging? https://www.umc-j1772.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=160
  9. A2Z NACS To CCS1 Adapter Review

Just ordered my first R1S now that Rivian has access to NACS (coming from previous Tesla S & Y). Could I also use this adapter with my current garage Tesla wall charger or a Tesla destination charger (at a hotel)?
