Can someone objectively explain if this will have any impact on their charging network or their ability to rollout and install chargers? If not, isn't this just trimming fat? Similar to rivian cutting out guides?
California's already bought into EVs, (and they're still buying Teslas). And you're wrong about the percentages. It's maybe only a third that would give a damn enough to not buy because of politics. People in the middle, like me, couldn't care less about a company's politics. People that skew...
Of course it's Elon Musk's politics. It's just that California's purchasing decisions don't outweigh the need for Tesla to be the preferred EV manufacturer throughout most of America. His politics don't bother half the country and those are the markets where the greatest growth potential exists.

That's the significant part to me. I'm not confident my fat ass wouldn't bend them from getting a tent and just sleeping in it. I'll be waiting for this tent though...
Title sucks. I clicked on this thread hoping to read a story about some kind of drug trafficking interdiction/high speed pursuit with an asset seizure/forfeiture involving a Rivian.
Rivian won't succeed if they waste money and time catering to Karens. I know there are a disproportionate number of them in the granola crowd, so that Venn diagram overlaps a lot, but those customers always end up taking more than they give in the form of time. So my ass ends up sitting on hold...
I've been lucky with my loaners, so for as long as I kept getting good ones, I'd feel comfortable making them honor their warranty if I was going to stick with the company. If decided on buying a different vehicle from a different company, you end up in the same position you're in now (new...
