I hope they fix this a/c resetting bullshit everytime we get out of the vehicle ? The vehicle has been out for a long time now, and the a/c is a pretty big deal in the South, Rivian! ?

We live in the south. I do use the app to cool the R1 in advance so that helps both from home and when we are out. But I haven’t noticed any difference in cooling from any other large vehicle I have had. I do make sure I turn on all the vents in all three rows every time.

This happened to me with a brand new GTI years ago in the first day or two of ownership at Lowe’s. So upsetting. All because of careless little shits who are so lazy they can’t go put the cart back. There are two types of people in this world: those who return carts and those who leave them...

This isn't a justification to use a nema 14-50. The flexibility to remove it doesn't out weight the safety to hardwire. Plus, having a hardwired level 2 is value added when selling the home. If you wanted, you could remove the hardwired install and take it with you. But not worth the expense...

My guess is that Alexa will be able to navigate to on command and tell us the weather and internet stuff but won’t be able to open the hood ..trunk etc. Just a guess though.

Yes. The vehicle is fantastic. Having said that, although I haven’t had issues yet, it’s probably only a matter of time as things can happen especially with a new company. But I knew that going in that there will be some give and take, delays etc
