I wanted to update this thread - Rivian adjusted my rear door and it looks substantially better. Pics attached.
I have also decided to sell this car and keep my R1T. Great car, but I donāt need both.
Iām selling my 2023 R1S. Itās a great car, but I own two Rivians and decided to keep the T instead of the S.
It has the black mountain interior, reinforced underbody shield and the 21ā road wheels. It is in like-new condition with only 520 miles on it. I donāt plan on driving it much, so...
I own both. Itās not nearly as bad as people make it seem. It rides equivalent to my Land Rovers.
No, the S doesnāt ride as nice as the T, but the T isnāt as maneuverable as the S. Pick you preference.
The clicks & clacks are the valves themselves opening and closing to adjust the height. The compressor is more of a dull "brrrrrrrrrrrr" noise emanating from the rear.
I bought 2 in the used market because I was tired of waiting. T picked up with less than 300 miles, S picked up with 89 miles.
Other than dealing with a transfer of ownership and not getting the guide/new delivery experience, I see no downsides.
I still have my order for my truck, which...
I have a very similar issue with my S. My T and my Taycan both charge fine on the same charger. But my S demonstrates the exact issue youāre seeing. My charger is wired with copper 36ā from my circuit, though - so not the EVSE.
My S is going in for service in a few weeks to get this and...
Mine runs everytime there is a change in the suspension height. Itās really noticeable in my S, which was just built. I guess I have the old one.
I wonder if the new one can be replaced.
Should add mine is a ā23, delivered early March
Unfortunately the previous owner of my R1S installed a front license plate bracket which I have removed. This left two holes in the black matte plastic in the front bumper. Anyone know if this is easy to replace? Anybody have a part number by chance?
I have a problem with my R1S using my home L2 charger. I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this Issue.
When I plug in my home charger (Chargepoint) it will often throw a āVehicle Errorā and request I disconnect/reconnect or it Will begin charging but at exceptionally low rate (1-3kw)...
If itās a fixed term contract, I would either suffer with dc fast charging for the period or find a long term rental. Otherwise on month 5 youāre going to be looking to get another R1T and paying up to do so.
Think of the flipping cost of the R1T as your budget for the rental. Or your...
