My power hungry VIOFO A139 Pro dashcam just died a few days ago, wondering if it had power starvation issues from my mirror tap. Might have to go directly to the fuse panel. Thank you guys for all the updates in this thread. Will make it quicker for me to go hunting for the right fuse hopefully...
Yeah I get it that Rivian needs to show that they acted on it otherwise they are leaving themselves open. Like others said, surprised they missed the emblems. Hope things work out, but if not, I need to get another set of the black/yellow emblems as a backup.
The Eastvale SC is huge and looks great from photos. I was at the Costa Mesa SC last week and asked if Eastvale took any pressure off, they said not really since there are only two techs over at Eastvale atm.
Theres also a second OC location that is live in Lake Forest. They are suppose to...
For what its worth, at least they are being thorough. Hopefully, this means it's your "final" service visit and that everything will be smooth from here on out.
Re: rental/loaner discussion, I had NO idea we couldn't tow or carry pets with either. I've had a brand new Model X rental and an R1T...
Just wrapped my second service center experience. TL;DR: I feel like I lucked out twice. Not perfect, but good enough for me.
Appointment was scheduled for 1/10/24 back in mid-October, after I got my car back from the first service appointment. This time, the days before the appointment, I made...
I thought it would be the ting washers, surprisingly was way more invasive than that. I'm glad they caught it and fixed, but didn't think it was something that would end up with both wheel hubs being replaced. Guess there were bad bearings?
Below are the details from my work order regarding...
Picked my car up today and realized the mileage shown during the In-Service period is not accurate. Immediately jumped 27 miles as soon as they turned off service mode. Just an FYI. At least the location still worked.
Also had a weird issue where I couldn't send directions to the car from my...
First time back in service (only second service appointment) since this update. I wish I could still see the battery level though given that they've been notorious for letting cars drain...
And yes, a reminder to turn back on driver cam, etc. would be great. The first time I had to stop a block...
Wow those rims look great. Any rubbing, etc. when suspension is at the lowest setting? Pricing doesn't seem that bad: https://www.xdwheels.com/xd-monster-3
@mabowden does your half-shaft noise sound similar to this? https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/took-delivery-at-costa-mesa-sc-r1s-149.17688/post-463922
Bringing my S to Costa Mesa this week for a large item that wasn't addressed back in October during my first post-delivery service...
My Costa Mesa in early October wasn't bad, but I have to go back in again this week and am apprehensive. Taking a gauge on recent visits and it's not looking great, even with Eastvale open and taking some of the load off them.
No harm in letting them know. Sucks that they let it drop like that? My first and only service appointment so far back in October was pretty great at Costa Mesa. But getting apprehensive again now that I'm going back in this week. Last time I dropped my car off with like 71% and after 10 days...
Noticed this issue probably a few months back but never had time to stop and record. Anyway, with my second appointment coming up, finally took the time to capture it. According to the forums/reddit, it could be FSAM-407, FSAM-1091?
Clicking, popping sounds coming from the frontend when turning...
Ouch, hoping it’s just the end of the year push. Eastvale just opened so assumed they were going to take some pressure off Costa Mesa. Have my second appointment in early January.
Love the video, thief interaction was a bit awkward. But clean enough for me to show my kiddo. I guess... all this time, I just needed to hug the folks in San Francisco who tried jacking my stuff...
I remember seeing @SANZC02 posts since he did this before I ever got around to it. For whatever reason I bought these instead: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYGOXU2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you want to pay a little more and not deal with cutting, you can always...
Stopped by in the morning, saw Drew(sp?) who was my First Mile host and also my delivery specialist at Costa Mesa. Told me a while back that he wanted to transfer over to Laguna when it opens and was happy to see that it happened for him.
Also saw Scott Lunt, aka Rivian Dad on Youtube. Nabbed a...
Right. So you are choosing between CAV or CVRP. The $7500 you are referring to, I assume is the federal? The majority of existing CA owners chose CAV. Rocking my stickers using magnets so I only put them on when I know I'm driving certain roads.
