I've been pleasantly surprised at how quickly the cabin cools and warms. However last night I decided to take it on a 30 min drive to the next town over, and it felt like it was constantly pushing through cool/room-temp air the entire way despite having it set to 75℉. I finally set it to 80℉, at...
Tested this twice on my drive this evening. In both cases, the slow vehicle in front of me was considered in "my lane" until I had completely crossed over the lane line (before the maneuver completed and auto-steer resumed).
As a result, it continued to slow as I was entering the new lane, and...
I noticed that speed recognition was improved for me as well, but after some trial and error I seemed to confirm to that OCR wasn't at play. Theoretically if OCR was being used, it should show every speed it recognizes on the dash. This is how my RAV4 worked. My Rivian still only works 50% of...
Sorry, to clarify, the "slowing" I'm referring to is the side-to-side motion. As in, if you're moving left or right too quickly, it will not lock you into the lane. So you have to "slow" and settle into the middle of the lane before Driver+ is confident you've completed your lane change.
This...
The blinker cancels when Driver+ deems that the lane change has fully completed. This seems to be intended behavior, because someone could change more than one lane at a time. If the blinker canceled after the right side of the vehicle crossed the right lane marker, but the driver intended to...
No, sorry, to clarify; I was expecting it to lock itself into the center of the lane. I felt like I was merging slow enough that it would just grab the steering wheel and resume, but I found out that it won't resume until your trajectory matches the center line of the road.
Here's some...
FYI anyone who might've missed it, here's my post on the Lane Change characteristics with Driver+ on 2023.46:

That was me. It may be a false alarm, because I've had sensor issues claiming my tailgate was open whenever I've launched the vehicle since taking delivery (the Tailgate Open warning would appear for half a second before disappearing). I'm now thinking that one of my latches just never worked...
Probably ?. I just finished installing it about an hour ago. I was surprised I was in the first batch this round. Took the plunge, despite the 2023.42 nightmare, lol
Hey everyone,
Just got 2023.46 installed. Here are the characteristics of the new feature;
New lane change visualizations
When you turn on your blinker, your current lane will remain highlighted blue
When you begin to move the steering wheel, the blue lane will shrink to a rectangle...
OK so... Update installed successfully! However, it could just be a freak coincidence, but now that I have update 2023.46 installed, my tailgate latches seem to not want to work properly ?‍♂️ After calling support and doing a vehicle reset, it really doesn't want to work.
I held the tailgate...
That's awesome! We ended up hiking over a mile ourselves, and the terrain was pretty steep for us as well. Can't really tell from the images, but after the first 15 on the side of the road, it shoots up/down.
Thankfully we missed the snow. I was worried I'd be over-confident with my road tires...
Oh! That didn't seem totally clear from the instructions without context; I just thought it was telling me to let the clip straps hang. But now that you point it out that seems totally clear...
Went up to grab out Christmas tree today. We live in Southern Oregon, and decided to go someplace new this year. Drove down to Ashland, then drove up like an hour into the mountains. Not too far off the beaten path, but we did end up on an unmaintained BLM road (intentionally). Satellite imagery...
Hallelujah! While I'm obviously excited about my gauges, I'm also super excited about "Lock Only" at home! No more do I have to make sure my phone is juuuuuust far enough away to prevent endless chirping.
The default behavior is that it will accelerate up to whatever speed limit the map thinks the road is at. AFAIK, optical sign recognition is not integrated, so if the map says 65, you'll accelerate up to 65.
You can disable this in settings.
