By "Their," do you mean Rivian? I'll be selling or trading a 2016 Model X and have started looking at the different options. Based on forum posts, it looks like offers are all over the map. One person's great offer from Carmax is countered by someone's terrible Carmax offer.

What is the GVWR for a quad motor R1S? Does it exceed 8500 lbs? I'm scheduled for Oct-Dec but I don't think I want to delay any more to get beyond Jan 1. It's looking to me like Rivian is ramping up nicely and should eadily meet my current window.

@Warmoth , I tried again today and got an R1S 1st Mile Drive slot for Aug 18. Tip: I was on hold on the phone for 30+ minutes. While holding, I tried the online chat, was connected in less than 5 min, and had the appointment a minute later.

In the early days of my Tesla, the wave I would get from diesel pickup drivers used very little energy. It only required one finger.

I got through after 50 minutes. They said there is no link and it has to be scheduled via the central phone number. Their calendar only goes out to Aug 5, and Denver has no R1S openings, and I should call back next week. Plenty of R1T openings are available.

I've ordered our R1S with the 21s, but plan to get a dedicated set of 20"snow tires and rims. This is what I've done on our Model X since 2016- 20" a/s for most of the year, and 19" Blizzaks on TireRack rims for the winter. This setup has worked very well.
