  5. Newb-EV WTB a used Rivian

I just put mine up for sale. Colorado based or 1000 miles from So Cal. Would like a quick sale as I have my eyes on a new vehicle. Prefer a Sale to another owner verses getting taken advantage of using as a Trade-In. (61) Rivians / Vehicles For Sale | Rivian Forum - R1T R1S R2 R3 News...

  8. Rivian - Built like a Tank - Full Size Crew Cab Truck vs Rivian R1S Wreck

FWIW... The reason I am driving an R1S is because a distracted driver rearended my 2023 Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk while stopped in heavy traffic going downhill (east on I70 just past the Eisenhower/Johnston Tunnels). My Bride saw the driver at speed in her review mirror and screamed way before...
  9. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

pc500, Little late reply but I can answer the longer milage/noise question. I now have over 35K on our R1S with the Open Country's. Yes, there is noise now but when first installed them at 2000 miles, they were Distinctively quieter than the stock Pirelli All Seasons on 22" Sport Dark. My...
  10. Variable charging speeds - Where's the issue?

FWIW... First few times using Rivian charger on a 110 outlet, any LED bulb on dimmers would flicker while the R1S was charging. At the service panel, tighten all breaker connections. Also tighten ground and common. No more flicker. A month after installing my ChargePoint set up similar...
  11. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Little noise. The road/tire noise does not impact or is not noticeable either at 25 MPH or highway speeds 60 and 75 MPH
  12. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Nominal I get more wind noise than tire/road noise as I have not applied the additional weather stripping. My Bride and I can still have normal conversations while driving either city street speeds (25 MPH) or higway speeds 60, 75 MPH or more
  13. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Happy to share for reference. At 2000 miles, swapped out the stock Pirelli's. Perfectly good - just NOT my tire of choice. Now 15 months and 32,000 miles later, mostly Highways or in town, running strong at 2.18 miles/kWh... These are not the newer 3 Mountain Peaks but they have been great in...
  14. OOS Cybertruck update. Major motor failure

Wanted to hear something interesting. The video opening showed cool, covered chargers and mentioned the vendors but I did not make 5 minutes before I deleted. Serious BLAH, Babble and more blah. . . .
  15. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Great write up, looking forward to replacing my current Open Country with the new 3PEAK snowflakes EV updated version. At 30k miles, it is close replacement time. Mostly highway and very happy with the safety, ride, grip, and finally the looks. I am running on 22's at 48 psi all the time.
  16. A/T All-Terrain Tires Tested On the Road - Comparison Review by Tire Rack

Good testing and explanations. Looking forward to the winter testing and hopefully the Toyo Open Country with 3PEAK snowflakes willbeincluded. I have driven the Open Country for 30K miles with 70% highway, in two Colorado mountain winters. Looking for a replacement this spring as these have...
