  1. Let's talk Tesla Supercharger parking etiquette...

It must be the Charges. Yesterday there was a Pollstar Blocking one charger, and using the cable from the next charger. I did not have enough time to snap a picture as the driver came back ---- She said the cable would not 'turn' so she used the one next to the slot. I showed her the cable...

No, When he came back while I was taking pictures, he started yelling at me and another VW driver who pulled up the same time I did. He said something about a note on his windshield. Have no idea about that but it made him crazy mad. He disconnected and sped away.

  4. Driver Screen Settings: Did You Know

Ok, please share, which buttons, scroll wheels, where. Never had Rivian guide or delivery agent. World really be happy to change Drivers display as now after a remote service, all I see is energy usage.... boring....
  5. Picked up R1S 3/31/2024 - broke two blocks later followed by a catastrophic failure

For What its worth. Purchased my 2nd Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel and rolled out having issues way under 1000 miles and the shop was unable to be addressed. After 32 days in the Dealer Service Center, pulled the Lemon Law card. Advice: Check your Sates Lemon Law. If you do not feel comfortable...
  6. NACS Adapter reservation emails are now going out!!!!

This will be a curious course. My VIN is under 5000 but I am a third owner. What you say. . . Yes, David XXXX ordered and took delivery, sold to local Used Car dealer with 400 miles. I bought it at 425 miles (trip to service center for dead 12volts) and 4 months later 10,000+ miles. Will I...
  7. Let's talk Tesla Supercharger parking etiquette...

To be clear, all chargers were working and when DuMaass pulled out, another VW pulled in, plugged in and that driver got and said.... Holy D!ckhead - he's a problem.
  8. Let's talk Tesla Supercharger parking etiquette...

New kind of charging etiquette. His name, Eric DuMaass, (not real last name but the other VW drive called him D!ckHead so either is right). Of the 4 stations here, three are in use, but this guy parked in one slot and uses the charger from the end slot. These cables are way long enough and...
  9. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 20" AT Tires Installed -- Like Nebraska, honestly, it's not for everyone...

Just a little Shout Out. I saw the Mickey Thompson Baja's yesterday on a Ford F-150. What a standout profile. My Bride said we need to get those when the Toyo's wear out. Great Choice!!
  10. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 20" AT Tires Installed -- Like Nebraska, honestly, it's not for everyone...

Correct, my Mile per Kilowatt is about 1.9 average. Going from Edwards to Denver, last week, the two uphill runs, Vail to top of Vail Pass then Dillon up to the Eisenhower/Johnson tunnels, about 50 miles cost me over 110 miles in energy at the speed limit. It was a nice surprise to find Charge...
  11. Remote Service Follies

Following another thread, I am a Non-Guide delivered R1S owner, and found out about the recommended 7500-mile check-up from another owner. All I previously saw was the tire rotate at 7500 miles and no other checks. When I called for more information, the rotate for $60.00 seemed like a deal...
  12. ⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, seems there are enough to get up/down mountain. Was hoping to get off the Interstate and try some lesser roads i.e. US Highways verses Interstates.
  13. ⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

Very much a newbie regarding the best choices for the adapters, Lectron or A2Z. In a few minutes of surfing, I found the A2Z and Lectron. You opinion counts, which would be better suited for our Rivian application? I too have multiple road trips planned - Glenwood Springs to Denver to Chicago...
  14. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 20" AT Tires Installed -- Like Nebraska, honestly, it's not for everyone...

Ok, the Rivian R1S was a little dirty so had to take it out for a quick exterior wash. The following pictures should help with any questions or stir more: Shared-to-Internet. And I thought a little Video might also help.
  15. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 20" AT Tires Installed -- Like Nebraska, honestly, it's not for everyone...

I will get pics in the morning. Stock Pirelli were on for 2000 miles. All Highway from Topsfield, MA some around town in New York City and Chicago, then to Omaha NE where we finally found the only tires in our size that were ready for the Colorado mountain roads Denver to Vail and Aspen. Stock...

Looks good. I'm wearing Toyo Open Country and get the same mi/kw. Similar handling snow, slush water. You will be happy.
  17. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 20" AT Tires Installed -- Like Nebraska, honestly, it's not for everyone...

Try the Toyo Open Country. I am currently rolling on these without issue. Firestone guy in Omaha found them rated for the 7000 lbs worth of R1S.
