Thank you! You answered my question. They aren’t exclusively for roof mount only. I was planning to only purchase 1 set of crossbars with 2 bike mounts so it looks like that will work.

Can the roof top bike mounts also be used when the cross bars are in the bed?

I'm in the same boat, so to speak, I measured my garage and there will be no more than 12" to spare, which means there's really no way for me to walk around the R1T when it's in the garage. I'm wondering if that is cutting it too close?
