  2. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

That’s about what we’ve seen with most other EVs in the last decade+. Exceptions being the: 2011 Leaf and the 1.5 and 3.0 roadsters. They hate life above 70-80% SOC and had significant degradation when the sale happened. Another data point after having sold 10+ EVs with ā€œhigh mileageā€, only the...

I do and won’t be posting them. As a builder I’m sure you understand how much time($$$) is involved in being the first to engineer something. We also have a winch mount that hasn’t been installed, haven’t found a need with the current use of the vehicle.
  4. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Yes never retort to facts, use internet to flex your career and lack of knowledge with exact product in question. Avoid questions replying to silly ā€˜e-peen measuring’ post. Yawn. Y’all too much. Very entertaining. How many pieces of rivian flair do y’all need to have in order to be accepted...
  5. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Oh this type of fun. Way cool, attack the author when you disagree with their points. ???
  6. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Couldn’t address the questions posed, went into attack(zomg question the author) mode? Niiiice. I like this playbook.
  7. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Oh nice? Low cobalt like the tesla? Years of BMS refinements? Are we legacy S/X? Or are we going to experience R80 drama? This assuming is tiring. Zomg I worked at Nike so I know that new balance really designs their shoes for standing by your vette.

We built a front receiver for the vehicle in order to best utilize the SUV for our (needs) / adventures. Have considered selling them, but decided that I’m not willing to take on the liability. Despite beating the snot out of it off-roading with the camper.
  9. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

ā€˜This battery that isn’t the same, will be able to use the same data as the other new different battery.’ ?ā€?? Yep. This about sums up the world view on logic and science in recent times.

Sup? KTM EXC or TireTail with camper? You pick.
  11. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Hope was used since no one knows degradation on these packs or what rivian’s trigger point is for replacement. But hey… semantics. I’m becoming more and more sure that their burn rate will take the company before most are out of warranty. ?
  12. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Jokes on you, my warranty has been void for almost a year. Wife and I have put a little over 600k miles on EVs in the last 12yrs. I’m not stressing on degradation one bit. This bucket of an suv will fail in many other ways before I stress on the pack, but thanks for the luck! ???
  13. Private or Used R1S Sales are Dropping In Price as much as $4k or more

Don’t have white interior. Neighbor isn’t a buyer since he doesn’t wanna spend the extra 100$ ?
  14. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

Oh they denied your warranty? ?ā€? By your logic, every other item should be a concern too. Those tenneco units, the inverters, the everything… gawd the sadness that comes from pointing out a warranty is absurd. Meanwhile, 13k miles in a month on our R1S, mostly charging to 95-100% due to...
  15. Charging battery to 90% vs 100%?

With the warranty, charge to 100 regularly. Hope for a replacement pack before you’re out of warranty. If it was bad to go to 100, wouldn’t they limit it? Granted, it’s a new product from a new company and the data doesn’t support it either way. Simple not enough units at higher mileage or...

Another 1k miles down. 1.4mi/kWh. ~5800lbs. 20ft featherlite, Model 3 time attack car, gear spread out throughout the combo.
  17. 20” All-Terrain OEM Replacement

The Toyo Open Country C/T have done about 11k miles on our rig, taking an absolute floggggging every moment of the day. Towing, offroad aired down into the high 20s, on road, road-trips…. No issues. Can’t say I’d try any other tire, prefer to use something designed for the oil fields / mine...
