Nothing against it but as a shareholder I think it’s a market not worth pursuing. I see many families driving these massive SUVs with only 2 kids too, if you have a big family at least you can make a reasonable case for buying one.
Not as well as the current size. Explorers sell better than Expedition. Highlanders better than Sequoia. I hope they never go there, make more cars with the limited battery materials instead of excessively large vehicles.
Given the recent study showing fast charging doesn’t degrade batteries much at all, maybe DoD “depth of discharge” is actually more detrimental. I usually charge to 80 then plug in around 35-40 which is a DoD of around 40-50 but if you keep it to 20-30 you extend battery life quite a bit. And...
Rides like a 4Runner on bumpy terrain but better on the highway, what one would expect of an off-roader. Hopefully they can tune it a bit but I wouldn’t expect too much.
As much as I love my Rivian, the performance of these supercars when it comes to handling, cornering and maneuvering is not something the Rivian has 75% of. It only competes in a 0-60 in a straight line.
Check with your electric utility, I had to use a specific wifi capable model to take advantage of off peak discounts and a $700 rebate. The Charge Point Home Flex is usually one that they support.
And yet the doors are so damn thick?! I was trying to figure out why the Rivian was wider on the exterior yet had less second row hip room than our 2015 Pilot. Turn out the doors are much thicker.
