Yeah. 1200/month is equivalent to 7.50/hour. If Rivian is offering a good 30-40 hour for basic blue collar factory jobs, they shouldn’t have an issue finding people. I deal with mfg supply chain. It was obvious that they had something that forced them to ramp up late.
It’s likely a locally processed ir camera that checks for gaze. Data isn’t sent out of the car in most applications from most manufacturers. The only one that sends the in car camera data back to the manufacture right now is Tesla. Smart phones actually use the camera in the same way for gaze...
Now that guides are reaching out, can we create a shared doc where we can collate questions and answers? Anyone willing to put together a Google doc for those who have reached out?
I'll actually be pretty close to wherever the seattle location will be. I'll ask them to see if we test drive both vehicles away from crowds though, as we pin down which of the 2 vehicles we want to order.

I’m not comparing the CT to Rivian, but rather the F150, because that’s what you were comparing. The CT will never be a work truck. It’s not even close. At least not with its Honda Ridgeline ass unibody construction.
If you’ve driven Fords all your life, you know the truck body market (like...
Ford was the only major auto company to sign onto both the california stricter emissions agreement and to the Paris climate agreement. They also spurned the Trump administration and publicly applauded others when they (like GM in 2020) did. I'm just assuming the average person might not be...
