I think EA president and he said that it wasn't the chargers themselves, but the backend that is a challenge. he mentioned that it was due to the fact that they couldn't get enough chargers from any one supplier, and that the backend has to be kludged together. They're apparently trying to fix...
No kIdding. I think most here realize that more firm data will be released closer to launch. Until then, everything is subject to change.
S Fan's demand to be pandered to is peak boomer (mentality, not the physical age).
It's amusing to listen to people complain about the roads in the PNW. I'm pretty sure that the pavé cobblestone roads on the hills here in Seattle are smoother than any road in California. Even with an occasional missing brick here or there.
You guys need to hurry up! I need a place to charge once the border opens back up. ;) It's crazy that most of western Washington has a strong DCFC infrastructure network either built or in process of being set up. I think Rivian and EA is even installing in relatively far out places like...
Yeah, Seattle wants people to not wash their cars and instead a directs them to automated car washes. In some towns like Bothell and Bellevue, you can get ticketed if you allow soapy water to flow into the storm water drains...
Hopefully the Alu body will help with corrosion resistance.
BTW, it still seems like BC's EV charging network is still lacking vs that of WA state. For example, the closest DCFC to Whistler that's of decent charge speed (over 50kw) is going to be an EC charger in Squamish. I guess it''s all...
All I'm thinking about is that with no running boards, at least the door jamb extends all the way down. I hate stepping out of muddy or salt & slush encrusted car and getting my pants legs dirty on an exposed edge.
Wastewater is typically a different system than storm drains. In Portland, it looks like a significant amount still flows untreated into rivers and streams. Even if it doesn't reach the storm drain when you wash your car, the next rain will wash it out to the storm drain...
I don't see this mentioned, but I will state what I see Tesla as doing from a Silicon valley tech employee perspective (I work between Seattle and the Bay Area, but have worked a long time in tech, don't work for AMZ):
Along with Apple, people who work for Tesla can't wait to jump ship. It's...
Yeah, i was wondering how that worked also. I wish there was a way to look back at the CS request chat and see the transcript. In any case, that 15A total system load statement stuck out to me too.
