I’ve thought of installing the same but there are also plenty of posts stating NOT to do that as the hitch getting hit can result in frame damage and insurance can be an issue. Anyone have direct knowledge?

I’ve moved the seat around and found a relatively happy place. I do agree they are too firm, but I drove up to VT (About 3 hours) and didn’t have any issues like I had before. Maybe play around a bit with the positioning - I agree with the suggestion from Donald about seat tilt. Seemed to help.

I can assure you that is not the intended functionality. So I would have that looked at.
