Thank you so much @VandalSibs - I owe you an adult beverage! It must have been in the recent release as I was camping recently and I didnāt notice the change until now - and must have missed it in the release notes! And I chatted with Rivian support and they didnāt have a clue what was going on...
Apologies if there is a thread on this - I couldnāt find one.
I am on a trip with my trailer and when I hitched up today, the R1T recognized the trailer - showed the trailer brake indicator, trailer messages about sensors, and image of trailer - but it did not bring up the trailer mode screen...
Iām looking forward to this feature! This will make it much easier for me to get my 110lb Berner in and out of the truck! He will be one happy pupā¦

I just took a round trip road trip from Ohio to Florida with my Gen 1 R1T towing an Airstream trailer and the Pilot Flying J chargers were NOT in my Rivian navigation. I was on the previous version of the software but having just upgraded to 2025.46.0 I notice they are still not there (see image...
I'm jealous :). I would love the bigger inverter and power to run AC when boon docking. We have the solar package with lithium that helps at least with the rest of our power needs. You will love your Airstream! Hope to see you down the road at an Airstream rally someday...
I skipped the WDH -...
Sorry tried to load a photo of Matar and Ariel at our last outing but didnāt seem to load on previous post. Trying againā¦
Also forgot to mention range, charging, towability etc. Range is just fine for us 150-200 miles comfortably which is the same frequency for us whether we have ICE or EV...
I have a 2024 Airstream 23FB international that I tow with a Rivian R1T with max pack. We moved up from a T@b 320S.
We picked the 23FB for 2 reasons: towing size and floor plan. For towing size, I didnāt want to go any longer for 2 reasons: width and tongue weight. The 23FB tongue weight is...
Yes - in theory - but I plan to keep my Gen 1 R1T a long time! Just passed 10,000 miles and 15 months. I was worried at first - delivery had some issues including a front motor replacement but since delivery Matar has settled in to be a solid jack of all trades! Still puts a smile on my face...
My daily charge is 50% because I unfortunately donāt get to drive my R1T that much day to day :-( - I am in a hybrid role so itās a combination of working from home or driving only 5 miles to the office. Somewhere I read that for infrequent driving it was better for long term health to keep it...
Did you use different bolts or brackets? I have a LoadWarrior with extension and set it up just like you did with the brackets at the same positions, but I found it was hard to get enough slack on the bolts for the rear bar because of the way the bracket is shaped for a narrower roof rack and...
I tow a 6,000 pound Airstream with a Gen1 Max pack - and readily admit the Airstream is definitely more aerodynamic so itās hard to compare. But since getting the trailer last August I have not had any overheating problems similar to yours. That includes 90+ temps and high humidity on trips...
Welcome to the āfind a trailer friendly chargerā club! š I love towing with my Rivian - max pack with acceptable range - but there is definitely a shortage of EV pull throughs.
Itās getting better - love what Pilot / Flying J is doing with some sites but have to get real creative sometimeā¦
The...
This is so great seeing so many others that tow with their Rivianās! Such an incredible variety of trailers.
We tow a 2024 Airstream 23FBT that weighs about 6000 pounds loaded and get 1.3 mi/kwh at 60 mph. Wind can take it as low as 0.9 and I have seen upwards of 1.6 too. And just slowing to 55...
Sorry for your recent loss.
We have a 2024 Airstream 23FBT that falls between your previous 27ā and Basecamp and we get closer to your Basecamp with efficiency of 1.3 or slightly more sometimes - unless we have a head wind! Our 23FBT is slightly narrower (8ā vs 8ā6ā) than the 25ā+ sizes so...
I have a 2023 R1T dual performance with the max pack and I tow a 2024 Airstream 23FBT that we purchased last August. I also leased our Rivian just in case, but I am considering buying it when the lease ends because I am extremely happy with how well it tows - you wonāt even know your Airstream...
Well I didnāt get to try my speaker right after delivery as it had an issue where it would not unlock and it could not be removed. So had to have that serviced first, but this weekend I used it for the first time while working on a yard project and it worked great! Nice full sound and when I...
It must be location dependent. Here in southwest Ohio I have been able to schedule service within a week or two. But in the last three weeks I have also not driven by another Rivian either. Donāt see many out here so I assume the SC can manage demand for now.
Have an update on the same whine I mentioned I had too - which was just 16 miles into a new delivery! Before I start, I want to extend my thanks as a new member of this fantastic community! The awareness of this issue from this post helped ensure I followed through and had my noise diagnosed...
Allow me to ramble and share my perspective as a former Tesla owner (x2) and Cybertruck reservation holder on why I canceled my Cybertruck pre-order and traded in my Model Y for a Rivian R1T: towing and safety.
First, towing. I got a Model Y because we have a teardrop trailer and we needed a...
@Dc640 I have the same sound! I have a 2023 Performance Dual Motor Max with 22ā sport wheels that I just picked up on Friday! And one of the first things I noticed just 5 mins off the lot was wow these motors are really loud! Itās definitely at its worst decelerating below 30. Itās not...
