Lined up for taking factory delivery next week. Day after I got VIN I was told it was ready for delivery. If I had been available Thursday or Friday this week, I would have been able to get it sooner. Honestly crazy fast, wish there was a little more warning.

Doesn't look like they started over. Mine is 17xxx. Which I think lines up, I saw the other week ppl from R1 shop had access to ones in 14-15xxx range.

Standard DM, I didnt see the need for Performance. It just unlocks the additional Drive Mode, Sport+ I think if I remember right. Would probably never use it enough to justify the cost. I was more considering getting something from the R1 shop with a Quad Motor, but just could never convince...

Just to clarify as well: I've had estimates the two previous quarterly updates. First was April-May 2023 then June/July 2023. I got R1 Shop access on June 6th 2023, and only saw it go to "Processing Estimate" when others did get quarterly update in the last 2-ish weeks. I live within driving...

Similar boat here. I had asked my guide when delivery estimate passed but didn't get much feedback besides they weren't building dual motor R1S's yet. I wonder if that's the issue is that the first in line for dual motor R1Ss are in a production limbo while they continue to pump out quad motor...

Well as mentioned I waited til August to contact my guide again about delivery estimate getting missed (currently shows June/July for my R1S Dual Motor). He apologized saying he didnt realize I had switched my config to Dual Motor (something I did over a year ago when option became available)...

I contacted my guide this past weekend. My window was April-May for a Dual Motor R1S, last quarterly update bumped it to June-July. Guide said that he didn't see a reason why I wouldnt "be matched" before July 31, made it sound like they are on schedule for current build plans. We will see if...
