That brings me some hope... I also picked my R1S from the store on May 25th and it is also headed to Bellevue from Normal. As of today, it is still in Normal... but loading on a truck soon. And I have had lots of cars shipped over the years and sometime the speed at which a truck can move...

My guide mentioned this on the phone yesterday as well. He confirmed that my R1S was switched from Rail to Truck transport which should speed things up significantly.

While having PPF on the vehicle when it arrives is convenient... it's better than any other option they could have dropped. So just be happy it's just the PPF... which you can have done easily (and likely even higher quality)

When I selected my R1S on Thursday there were more LE's than Adventure... it least what was offered to me.

I would have loved to have found one with PPF. I always get it done at my local shop, but not always easy to schedule and have a day or two without the car.

I gained access to the shop this morning but didn't expect to find my R1S config... I was shocked when I found a Limestone/Ocean that matched my order config... except the shop vehicle had bright 22's vs. the 21s on my order. I didn't really want to spend the extra $$$ for wheels I didn't want...
