I hate to say it but it makes sense for Rivian to sprinkle some of these new orders in. They make more money on the post 3/1 orders. I can't blame them for allocating some trucks to that.
Well, I stand corrected. The service center person called back and said it actually wasn't my truck that was affected. I'm good to go for tomorrow. I guess it was yours. Sorry about that! I feel your pain!
I think we should start the 8-step process support group.
Thats insane and concerning all at the same time. I've asked what my damage is but I haven't heard back.
I'm really starting to question this early decision honestly...
Jesus! Mine as well! So much for getting my delivery right after yours!
I think there is something going on that they aren't willing to admit. I called out my guide on this and they wont say a word. I think they have a mission critical problem they are hiding at the moment.
The crazy thing is...
That’s hilarious, you just barely beat me to it. I tried to confirm that time and the scheduler said you are good to go and then two seconds later said never mind you just missed it. So now I know how beat me! ? congratulations on the delivery!
My situation is not a launch edition (I ordered an adventure) but I ordered 9/25/21 and have a delivery scheduled for next week. I even went by the delivery center yesterday to confirm the truck was actually there. Sure enough, it was and it was awaiting PDI. So I'm not entirely sure the logic...
I'm hung up on the trade in step and have been since Wednesday. It says pending review. I've reached out to my guide and received zero response. The delivery coordinator even reached out yesterday and scheduled delivery for next week. She tried to reach out to my guide and got zero response as...
You must be new to EVs as a whole. Don’t worry, you get used to it and after a while you wonder how you lived without it.
Going from a model 3 to an Etron, good one pedal driving is one of the things I miss the most and I hated the feature at first.
Yeah, I stopped by yesterday to see if my VIN was there and saw the yellow. I immediately realized how hard it is to photograph. Iphones wants to make it way more saturated than it is. Its a much softer yellow than I expected. I would say its even slightly muted compared to the yellow brake...
So they reached out to you about production. That’s awesome. I hope my guide does the same. Hopefully you can get the factory pickup, that would be really cool!
I found the ID myself. Nothing from guide. The only timeframe I got from her was in my initial call saying I was on track for oct-dec window but in her experience it’s probably more like 2-6 weeks out once you have a guide.
Yep. I even reached out to my guide this week to check in and she had no news.
I have one theory that a vehicleID could be an assigned future production slot and other people who have gotten VINs without them are just been paired with trucks that randomly become available. It seems like luck...
Ive had the same experience. I did a bunch of digging into vehicleIDs when I found I had one a week ago and it doesn’t seem to mean anything as far as timing. Some people have no ID after PBA and get a VIN out of nowhere and others have vehicleIDs and don’t get anything. I haven’t seen any...
That’s any auto mode on a camera though. I’m a photographer by trade so I’ll take one of my professional cameras next time I spot one and actually color it correctly.
Congratulations to both of you!
I'm curious if your guides have been responsive. I Tried texting mine a couple questions mid-day Friday and didn’t get a response. How have your experiences been?
