Still rebooting my phone (Pixel 7a) almost daily to once again be recognized by my gen 1 R1T. It salutes my wife loyally every time she's near (iPhone 13). I think this is perhaps more a function of the difference in our phone hardware and app than in our physiology.

Aptera has performed pretty rigorous crash testing. I believe their target production ramp was to 20k units for the first full year of production. (Old info, so that might be no longer the case.)
