Just a quick update on my impressions of the R1T. Silver/Black/Ash All Terrain upgrade and manual tonneau cover. (June/July delivery).
Lack of XM radio - for now
Very cool when you use the blinker and it makes a different sound when a car is in your blind spot.

Just bought a Tesla J1772 charger..they are currently instock and going to have HI IQ Electrical: 404-938-9026(Atlanta Ga area) do an install and upgrade the wiring if needed. I am hoping this is the best solution.

This isn't very good news...as I am taking delivery of my R1T tomorrow and my charging set up is (was) Tesla - 2018-2019 wall charger to lextron adapter. I am only outputting 40A so this may help but do you think this is more of an isolated incident or do you think that after a period of time...
The R1T is close if not better with on road performance...where it may be lacking is Baja mode (or lack thereof) which would require some suspension tuning, I surmise.
Here in Atlanta...and about to pick up my R1T...still trying to get my head around the cost - as mine is a post price increase...but hopefully i can get over this and enjoy the truck. I would like to do some light off roading to see what the truck can do so maybe a meet up soon to go to an...
I will be interested in what the other person's insurance company will say...especially when the policy holder isn't going to admit that they were responsible. In the end you will more likely need to file a claim with your insurance company and have them try to get the funds from the other...
I am hoping to get my spare tire..spoke with my delvery person and she said that she was going to check. The R1T is at the delivery center and undergoing it PPI...but couldn't go back and see it..very excited to be taking delivery...but the above pricing is no where near what i am paying..check...
Here is a situtation...binding contract entered into before Aug 2022..paid the non-refundable $100. Ended up cancelling that order and got the refund of $900. Subseqently, in 2023 you make another order andtake delivery of a 2023 R1T from Rivian. I would think the original binding contract is...
If you had access to the R1 Shop and liked two identical trucks..however one was a launch edition and the other was and Adventure edition(non Launch edition)..which one would you choose? Difference in price is $500. Also, would you perfer a newer built truck (Adventure) as opposed to a Launch...
I need some encouragement...just got the invitation to configure my R1T and it's hard to see other window stickers starting at 73k and has most of the options on a new one costing 92-94k. With no eligibility with respect to the federal tax credit...i think for sure 73 - 79k is reasonable..but...
