The heat pump needs to be designed very well like the Tesla Model 3/Y are to have a benefit. Those have their elaborate octovalve and really do help. But just putting a basic heat pump without extensive engineering as VW/Audi have done doesn't provide a benefit.

My Nov2021 preorder that I cancelled March 1st and restored March 6th is still not in my account. I emailed Rivian again today. Hope they fix soon. Also hope we get updates on delivery estimate. I was told in December to expect second half 2023.

Glad yours got fixed. My order is still not restored. Think I'll wait until May and then email them again. Would be nice to also have update on delivery estimate, back in December they estimate second half 2023 for my Explore trim.

I still don't have my original November 18th 2021 order restored. I cancelled March 1st, restored March 6th, but ordered a second R1S March 15th at the new higher pricing. I only see the one new order in my account. On 4/19 Rivian email reply they are working to restore my order.
