Has anyone discussed how makes it sound like we won’t get this functionality without “hands free, eye monitoring”? Like it’s written as if the “hands on, eyes un-monitored” will not work anymore… which is a big bummer if so. time will tell I guess.

To me, it sounds like they can use lidar equipped r2 (ground truth fleet) to train models and gather data that will help the non lidar gen2 cars!

IMO eyes-free will never come to the non-LiDAR models. but time will tell! looking forward to point-to-point even if it’s just hands-free, eyes-on
