Yeah they must be closing the length of time that they're taking to roll out updates. Last update took me 1.5 weeks to receive, I got this one this morning and it was announced yesterday. Much better in terms of speed of rollout.
I forget about the instant torque sometimes since this is my first EV and gun it sometimes without thinking about it. Kids laugh and think it's hilarious, wife not so much when it snaps her head back into the headrest without warning.
I've only ever experienced torque steer when I was in conserve mode, was going about 50MPH or so and floored it, and it jerked the wheel to the right a bit. I haven't noticed any torque steer at all in all purpose mode though.
That must be it because I’m having that exact pedal issue and have a service scheduled for 2 weeks from now for it. Hopefully they’ll replace my pedal too.
Makes me feel better knowing there’s an explanation for it.
Curious if anyone else has had this issue. I’ve got proximity disabled at home and park it a garage. Once I get home for the day, I’ll plug it in to charge for the night and walk away. Sometimes I’ll come back like an hour later only to find the fans still running and the AC still running on the...
If this post truly was about the lack of charging locations, that really isn't Rivian's fault. They're trying to assist by adding some of their own chargers, but they can only do so much. It'd be the same as blaming Ford for there not being enough gas stations where you want them.
If you go...
I also learned over my last road trip that the R1T won't let you use ACC or Driver+ above 85MPH. Wasn't ideal for me as the speed limit through 130 south of Austin is 85MPH, but I was actually only doing like 80MPH since the spedometer is a bit off (verified with Waze which obviously there's a...
What wireless pads are you using? I’ve got pretty much everything but the pads to do this. I tried using the apple MagSafe but the magnets weren’t strong enough to pass through the rubber pad of the Rivian.
I feel like it's pretty fair, and agree with the conclusion. If you want a truck for a truck, you're better off with the Lightning. I've owned numerous Silverado's and RAM 1500's and I absolutely love my R1T. But I find myself having issues doing normal truck stuff with the smaller bed for...
I have a 13 and a MagBak case and it charges and charges well, but I have to find the right spot and if I turn it moves. Just went on a 500+ mile road trip and as long as I was driving on straight highways then my phone was charging (and charging fast too, i was impressed). But the second I'd...
Yeah, the iPhone 6 came out 8 years ago and isn’t supported in the latest iOS release. Rivian has to draw the line somewhere of not QA testing certain versions. I don’t know their specifics obviously, but I wouldn’t call it crazy to think that they would only test phones that can run the latest...
Digital sales of albums and singles != non local playback. All of the media that I consume is digital, but also all of the media that I consume I download locally to my device and play the lossless versions of them.

Bought that along with a clay bar and their car wash product that removes anything on the paint to prep it for the ceramic. Took about 3-4 hours to do but having the...
