Currently on 2024.27.01. I am wondering if I should run the latest update (2024.31.01) to see if it can straighten out all these bugs but nervous it will make things worse. I have reached out to Rivian about this. What is the forum's opinion??
Did they replace the entire interior door panel or just a portion of it? If entire panel, OPās DEET sweat is going to cost some $$ as it likely wont be warranty work
Update on my truck. Still have the issue after multiple resets /restarts -all types. Rivian home service scheduled for third week in September. they tell me no issue driving the truck with amber battery /32 degree temp reading. There are multiple other issues as well:
1. none of my keys...
I am having this same issue. Iāve tried both soft reset and full reboot. Neither has cleared it. I am still waiting to hear back from Rivian support. Timing couldnāt be worse as we are planning to leave for a weekend vacation and need the truck to access the cabin.
Update: as I mentioned I had a similar situation to FLTANK regarding proximity locking issues. This morning the truck was indicating battery temp of 32 with ambient temp at 74. Had a puddle of water under the truck possibly condensation from cooling system (?). Battery shaded red with warning...
I am having a similar issue as of today. I noticed the truck was locking/unlocking while at home. This is typically not the case as I have proximity locking set to off at home. I opened the vehicle/access menu and noticed that there was no option for disabling proximity locking in the menu...
Some manufacturers, Porsche for instance, allow just about anything to be ordered for a price (and long wait). Many years ago someoneās ordered a 928 in bright green with a purple interior and green seatbelts. Buyer walked when it was time to pick up. It sat in the dealership for a very very...
A few thoughts -I am not a fan of the cell-shaded graphics -looks like a downgrade to me. Sure, it has a unique stylized look but looks trendy to my eyes and I very much miss the more photo realistic truck renderings. The font change is subtle. Less elegant but not bad. One change to the UI...
Same here. One thing I would add is that our LX470 was quite "floaty" over longer wavelength road irregularities and our R1S has never suffered from this fault.
help me understand what 24kWh DC means for powering a home... how many days of power would that provide without draining the battery to 0 if your avg. daily need is, say 2 kWh? Is that 12 days of power before my truck battery is drained? My needs at my cabin are about 2kWh but a home would be...
installing as I type this. I would normally wait and am reluctant to lose the current graphics for the cartoons but the improved ride quality is a major motivator for me. I hope it is truly improved as it is my one disappointment with the truck
Hate is very strong word for an opinion about a cartoonish mascot.... I am not a fan of the character but I can understand the concept. Create a warm and fuzzy creature that will soften the techie image of the EV truck and add a family friendly vibe. It's marketing. I agree the rendering of...
I guess Im in the minority but I really don't like the new cartoon looking truck imagery- much prefer the current look. Not going to upgrade unless there's a compelling feature or it becomes mandatory for functionality
Perhaps so but it is a design-fail. The original seat stitching pattern incorporated the shape / brand identifier of the stadium lights. They look so much better / distinctive especially with the stripe. I donāt even know what to say about the new mats⦠is Gary gonna be wearing a kilt now?
Ill have to look into what else is in this update because I am definitely NOT a fan of the graphics "downgrade" and prefer the old font .... I will hold off unless there is some serious improved functionality included as well
