Have you asked your guide for access to the R1 shop or are you set on a particular configuration? If it's a specific configuration, that might explain the delay.

In the R1S, go to Settings>Vehicle>Access. There should be an option to unlock all doors or just driver's door. I haven't tried it, but it should work. Let me know!

My guess is "quick access" means just that - Touch on the icon and the garage door either opens or closes depending on its current position. I've integrated MyQ with Alexa via the SmartThings app but only use it to open the garage door from the street before turning into my alley.
