I used to have an X5 and always loved the tailgate to stop stuff from falling out, but also to sit on and stay clean when putting ski boots on the kids, etc.

The Palisade, Telluride, VW Atlas, etc. are family haulers priced at $40-60k max, and some vehicles in this category are amazing vehicles for that exact purpose. The R1S competes with a Defender, BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, Audi Q7, Jeep Wagoneer, Audi Etron, Tesla Model X, etc on price...

7/8 steps completed, just waiting for delivery time now. Went by the Denver SC today and they have approx. 15 R1S and 50-60 R1Ts in the staging area and more were arriving. Big year-end push.
