Greetings,
My boys are pretty merciless wrt noticing the rear display changes. W/in the last update or so, not the (pending for me 2024.51.02 -- don't see anything about this issue in notes) there seems to have been a regression relating to the preferences on the front panel controlling the...
Is this common knowledge/old/new? Anyone else also experience this?
LE R1T in service, before the company folds, and instead of a loaner/rental they gave me Uber credits. This would have been swell had the service guy informed me beforehand that I would have to eat any tip amount OR if...
I had been using a Zendure SuperTank Pro that I got off of Kickstarter about 4 years ago. It lasted about a year in the R1T's console. I suspect the hostile car environment did it no favors. It no longer holds a charge. Seems this HyperJuice is a similar beast. A bit flatter and longer...
I guess "splitter" was too colloquial. Type C laptop docks allow for passthrough charging, among other things. What I want, and could easily exist, is that but w/out all of the extraneous non charging type c ports. This is what I had hoped the Belkin unit was.
That's what I had initially...
I saw that very one before I pulled the trigger on the Belkin one. I refrained because of the 2nd image indicating "Note: Charging is not supported".
But you say it actually _does_ charge devices?
Thanks!
I am aware of the others but I have young boys that could tear up an anvil with a toothpick. Having anything in any of those ports with them anywhere in the car would just be begging for broken ports.
But thanks for thinking I'm too stupid for respiration though.
Greetings,
The ridiculous few type c ports (2) inside the center console are not enough considering the dash cam storage requires one of them. When my wife and take a drive it would be nice to not have to ro-sham-bo over who gets their phone charged. Has anyone found any port splitters that...
1) What did you use to cover your roof? During my wrap, I had them tint mine but I wouldn't consider it "covered".
3) I thought the camp speaker did double duty as also functioning as part of the audio system when docked. If that's not actually true I might do this as well. More to reduce...
Interesting. Why did you not get an R1T loaner? All already loaned out or are they just following the Tesla playbook wrt rentals and eventually just rideshare credits _if_ you bug them about it?
Mere days after I took delivery of my R1T, March '22, there was a battery fault. They had to...
I've been on the try to leave it closed for aero/range purposes. But it's annoying when I actually need to use the bed. Having to even make such a calculus is an issue.
What dry lubricant do you use? I briefly used mine Saturday and based on the close actuation, failure seems imminent. It got 95% closed and then slowed and auto reversed. Like the trigger when something is in the way.
Anyway, just graphite lock tumbler lube?
Thanks!
Not even once. Even before I had the full body wrap, but after the wrap, they explicitly advised against it.
I hadn't opened the thing until some months after picking it up from the wiper wire loom "recall" issue. Presumably they would have had to (re)move the tub so maybe they did something...
I just got called back after placing 2 servicei ssues through the app. One for condensation in frunk causing rust (don't hardly open so big surprise) and warp(ed|ing) of ledge between back of backseat and rear cab window. Earliest service date is 139 days out; in July! Wtfo?! This is WA area...
Indeed. I have noted better connections to other gear after having gone all ubiquiti. I've suffered through Google WIFI -> Eero -> Google Nest (all trash) with/without a pfsense box on the front-end. I had originally been running the controller in a TrueNAS VM w/UAP-ACv2 and nanoHD units...
