Train transport has a lot of other challenges. Namely being a LOT slower unless you’re shipping 500 cars to one location…which they aren’t.

Looks like they’re trying to dump this on most owners across multiple states. I refuse to be the Guinea pig in my state until others report back how “easy” it was. I’m also unclear on the fees Rivian will refund AFTER you pay yourself.

They want you to leave it open so they can track you. I turned off location services on it after iOS showed me the track log of the phone gps multiple times per hour. This is addition to the truck gps tracking of course.

Did the alarm go off? Mine went off a few days ago and I rush to the street, watch the videos and there is nothing. Not even anyone walking/driving nearby. Meanwhile I already have one scuff I can’t get out from someone opening their door into the truck and the alarm never went off.

Yah, I don’t think FPL pays on-peak for generation unless you have a PPA which I’m fairly certain you don’t. That’s sort of the scam. They pay the consumer as little as legally possible and they help write the laws.

Avoided cost is between $.04-$.05 so that sounds right. Do you get much more on-peak?
