I'd say yes, Rivian is a licensed dealer in the state of Illinois. At least on my paper work, Rivian was listed as the dealer with their Normal, IL address.
The service center has some clipper creeks and a yet to be opened lounge. But I think the chargers are just for serviced vehicles, and maybe employees. I don't think the foundation for the showroom has even been poured yet. I doubt either location would have a DC fast charger or RAN station...
I saw that update. I'll give it a try after I'm done with a couple tasks requiring the bed this weekend. I am hesitant because I don't want it to end up like @kylealden's did, with the panels all wedged at an angle.
From delivery, a week ago, mine would not open fully. It'd stop with the last panel sticking out about 4". I have a service appointment for next Monday. The order says they will replace the entire cover!
If you physically adapted it and used the supplied 14-50 dongle, the portable EVSE would only see 120v and may or may not even work because it is expecting 240v based on the dongle plugged into it. My guess is that it would default to the 5-15 plug settings which would only give you 12 amps...
