    Okay at least I'm not insane. Here is a video of what I was talking about. In this example it lags at 77mph before jumping to 85mph. This example is on the road so I doubt there was any slippage.

    Wow! That's a lot of trucks together. I'm glad they finally got those chargers online. I was really sad at the First Mile event when the Normal Tesla Supercharger was closed due to a fire and none of those chargers we live yet.

    They are most likely going to send out a general contact email saying "Your guide is <whomever>. They''ll be contacting you to schedule an intro call when your vehicle is closer to production. Soon."

    Why? To provide extra grip to the bottom of the truck so you can stick to any rocks that hit it? It also seems like a waste that'd inhibit any aerodynamic benefits of the plate.

    The latter has always been my perception, especially in motorcycles. Those loud exhaust systems on a certain brand were generally associated with a lack of power.
