I am just using the one that came with my R1S. It's under the driver seat (if it matters, my R1S is 05/2023 build).

Out of curiosity please let me know if it turned out to be the same issue for you too. For me, it's been working great ever since I fixed that.

Yes! In my case it turned out that the plug under the driver seat (which plugs into the amplifier) was not fully in, hence some of the pins not making contact. Just retract the driver seat back, lift up the plastic trim to access the amp and make sure the plug there is fully in.

Yup, bags stay pretty secure there, I've been testing this for about a month and couldn't find the time to release it sooner, but it works well if you put bags in the front trunk.

I once rented a Rivian on Turo with the exact same problem and the owner said he already had a scheduled SC visit for it...so about the only thing I know is that you won't be the first with that issue. Best of luck!

For the record - we cover all the chrome, so if properly installed, when you open the doors you wont see any chrome. You can see it on the install video ??
