Why can't you use a Tesla charger to charge the Rivian? Older versions might have compatibility issues with gen2 R1s. But the newest version shouldn't. The actual charger is built into the car. The external "charger" is just a power supply.

No. Reservations are not transferrable. For R1 reservations, some transfers did happen, but only between spouses or (more rare) between immediate relatives.
Revisit the reservation agreement you agreed to when you made your reservation.
Not for direct-sale model brands. Demo vehicles are dedicated for that purpose, until removed from that duty to be sold at as a used car, direct from brand (in this case, Rivian Shop inventory) or to second-hand market (auctions, rental companies, etc..).
