I was planning on buying my folks an R2 soon as they became viable in the UK a few months ago - but they will need to massively invest in the SC story before that even becomes remotely viable now.
Refab parts are now common afaik - both of the ‘New‘ AXM2.0’s I’ve been given under warranty are refabs.
Edit: also really sorry about the damper/tank issue - hope that gets sorted quickly if it’s not right.

Sorry I took your reply to @FutureTruck to be implying that the shut down of the factory would temporarily cut R1 production and hence deliveries for the quarter. Unfortunately demand is such right now that the production lines were running at reduced capacity/shifts prior to the shut-down.
I wish (and had originally hoped the stars may have aligned that way). It was a family visit to Chicago in Bluey, our trusty R1S that’s never seen the inside of a service center (yet).

I had this after the most recent update - was tracked down to a faulty camera in the driver side wing mirror. A relatively quick change out.
Previous issues that prevented collision detection included a faulty front radar, that took a bit longer to get to the bottom of.
Ok - the seat at the end is really poor, but latch noises etc dont seem any different to many other vehicles, and the charge port seal sounds like a assembly SNAFU?

The thing that really worries me about this for all of us is that the ‘SSD’ (eMMC?) is *not* replaceable in the AXM for gen2 - does this mean we are all sitting on time bombs? @Kryptonlogic / @mpshizzle ?
Update: the replacement AXM2 was also faulty, they are replacing again.
If I get this truck back, I'll rename it `theseus` or `grandfathers axe` I think.
