FYI, rivian ONLY uses third party tow trucks for service. They go through another service called Avao or something to schedule everything. They only use rivian flatbeds for delivery. And yes, when you talk to the third party tow truck drivers most of them have done multiple Rivians
THIS THIS ALL DAY!!!! This is not Ferrarri or McLaren that will pickup your car for service and delivery it to the track for you with a spare set of racing wheels.
Rivian should be treated just like any other car company. People buying F150 Lighting Platinums aren't on the ford boards...
Man everyone is pushing this "date" thing hard without an actual press release from Rivian about it. I'm just telling you my side of the story and from what i've been reading on these forums for months the So Cal service centers (especially El Segundo) are the cream of the crop when it comes to...
My truck got towed to Rivian (it is still inoperable), I got uber credits to get home, and I am currently driving a rental car they are paying for. Will they give me uber credits to pick it up, not sure but they did last time it was in for service.
So far Rivian is acting similar if not better...
I'll share my experience since my truck died Sunday night but it was towed to the service center by Rivian and I wasn't charged a fee.
Now, when the truck is fixed will they flat bed it back to my house, that's to be seen, but every other car I've previously owned would have to be picked up...
I mean, my Rivian was in the exact same state on Sunday and had to be towed to the service center. Luckily I was stuck at a EA charger and not the middle of the road.
Sooo you are telling me your windows are shatterproof (or unbreakable) and that your car will act "briefly as a boat".
Should we just start calling it the cybercoffin now?
So i've charged at RAN stations a few times but the Rivian app doesn't show the charge cause it's free and honestly i never sat around and did it. I can tell you i hit 215 for a while and it was WELL over 100 all the way to 80%.
Yeah i like plugshare but i don't see a way to edit or delete comments so i just added another one. Here is the receipt from Rivian, notice the charge is 0.00 KW
Just giving you guys a heads up, for some reason the Rivian app says charging at EVgo is free and even on the screen on EVgo it says it can't figure out cost. I just finished charging and it charged me $50 i wasn't expecting.
I opened a support case but i'm assuming they won't be able to...
I have to say, i've had the matte version of this on the truck for a couple days and so far i'm not a fan. Gonna give it a few more days to see but the screens without the protector don't seem to get much glare stock.
The matte also spreads the light over the ENTIRE SCREEN protector making the...
Honestly I have the same fridge in my truck and i think you are overthinking this. Just run if off 110. Is it less efficient, sure, but I kept mine running for a 3 day camping trip and barely noticed any power drop different from normal vampire drain.
