YUUUUP, seems like the camera inside doesn't detect the motion. One thing to note, from what i'm seeing that car seat dock isn't even in with the seat belt but the latch anchors instead.
This alarm system leaves A LOT to be desired.
Make sure you tell them over and over again to check the charging port and harness first. I'm guess my truck was in the shop 4 days longer then it should have been since they didn' t check that first.
Yeah I'm still fighting with Rivian over this but it seems to be a losing battle. They keep telling me that complementary charging is only available on the RAN (yeah we know) and are telling me to reach out to EVgo for information.
They don't seem to get that THEIR OWN APP showed the station...
From a DC charger, no. When they towed the truck to the Service center i did notice them charging it over AC and from what i heard from them the truck still didn't go into gear. So it could AC charge, not DC Charge, and couldn't be put into gear.
No I unfortunately didn't... I had the wife and kids with me so getting them home was priority over everything else that was going on. I did look at the pins on both the charger and truck and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
Also had no problem actually plugging in the charger.
I'm the person that was stranded... they had to change out my charging port. Said that the harness had the cable pushed out of it, possibly from the DCFC or something else. Not a good sign if it's more widespread.
Yeah thank god it was local especially since i had my wife and kids with me. If it's a wear thing on the port i'm concerned because I don't DCFC that much.
Yeah seems weird considering the charger plugged in just fine, I didn't force it or anything so who knows. It almost seems like a slight bend pushed the back end of the charge port connector out or something but I couldn't get much better detail from the SC.
I just posted this on a new post about my failed charging port experience:

Hi everyone,
Now that I've gotten my truck back from service for over a week I wanted to tell a cautionary tail of what happened.
TLDR: If the charging port on your truck is damaged, it may prevent you from shifting into gear (tow mode still works though).
On Sunday 10/9 I went to an EA...
Just wanted to update this as my truck was at the service center for a couple other issues and they investigated this more and found the issue.
TLDR: If you have a carseat buckled into the truck, the alarm won't go off. They are going to request a software update to fix it.
Here is the...
At 6000 miles my vin 17xx had a front drive unit failure and is currently in the service center. Ironically my tonneau has been fine, loud, but has never broken.
