For me, the trigger is “so called new car”. It just suggests that OP sees that everyone is out to get them. And it suggests zero research…anywhere. “rivian invoice says 100 miles” in google and the answer is in the literal first link. In fact, don’t even have to click the link.

Maybe work directly with Rivian on this one instead of other owners? Sounds like you are all steamed up and unable to see/think clearly about this issue.

I have never had to charge mine. Just assumed it charged while docked?
