I think this was mostly earlier vehicles. Mine were replaced via Mobil visit and nary a problem since. BTW, mine latched, but often read as open and made an odd whirring noise when opening.

This is user error. You should feather acceleration/deceleration to effectively mimic a regular car. If you are getting comments, no offense, you are doing it wrong.

I mean, as soon as the dash icon comes up, I tap. A heartbeat later, the door goes up. No change.
I wonder if some people forgot there was that second or so delay. If yes and hitting the button again too soon, they are effectively cancelling the first tap.

That is awesome! …having said that, I am hoping they put the powered tonneau in the gear shop. Would help offset the cost. But, failing that, you have me thinking.
We test drive the S initially but were surprised how big it was. Immediately switched to a T (even though it is bigger) and no regrets. (Disclaimer-kids grown and out of the house)
