Pretty much my impression. I can't find any songs that sound good on this system, even kid music is terrible on it.
Oh well, that's the price you pay for Rivian to stay in business I guess.
My cousin is an audio engineer at Tesla so I'm going to have him run some tests for me and try and...
Just picked my Gen2 R1S max pack recently with 22" bright sport wheels. Even though it's a $2,000 option and these are very efficient I am looking to swap with someone who has the Gen2 20" AS wheel/tire package because I am an offroader and can't resist rock crawling and scratching my vehicle's...
Lots of interest, went through my PMs and georgethegoat was first so SPF to him. Will let backup offers know if I don't hear back in a day or two. Thanks everyone.
Used in my R1T for 12 months. Got an R1S now so these need a home. Local pickup in South OC. Cash sale. $75
PS also selling the roof racks, see my post in the exterior forum. Thanks!
I have an extra set of Rivian OEM Crossbars from my R1T. Asking $350.
I also have some Rivian OEM weatherproof floormats I'm selling for $75 (see my other post in the interior forum).
Cash sale. Local pickup only.
Looks really good. I could really use just the rear mat.
Does it work with the seats up? I also have a Gen2, not sure if they made any significant changes to the trunk area.
I'm looking for a frunc mat to fit the newly redesigned frunc in my R1S to catch all of the sand from the beach, and dirt from hiking shoes. Right now it all falls to the bottom of the frunc and is a chore to clean out.
Has anyone had any luck finding such a catch-all mat?
Circling back around to this, sorry I didn't get back sooner but I've been waiting to get my new car back.
My R1S is Gen2, base audio. I took the car in for service recently and asked them to check it out. They said everything is fine. I've owned a dozen vehicles and this stereo is the worst...
Does anyone sell seatback covers for the R1S to keep kids from kicking and destroying the backs of the two front seats? We had some in our Model Y and they were really great, they even had some storage pockets and whatnot for the kids to put their stuff into.
As a bonus if anyone has any good...
Just be happy that you got the premium sound system--I have a Gen2 R1S with the base sound and the whole system makes your ears want to pop. It's worse than the stereo in my bronco, and that's saying something. I basically don't listen to music anymore at all driving unless my kids are dying for...
My Model Y would remember the 2nd row AC option, I believe it would turn the 2nd row AC on if the sensors told the computer that there were occupants in it. I don't see why Rivian can't do the same thing, it's quite simple.
I am experiencing the same problem, in particular the A-pillars
From the feedback on this forum it sounds like some service centers allow, and even encourage you, to take a test drive. They do not however allow you to do this before completing the purchase transaction. So I don't know how...
This would be great if they can update this. Drive settings also has a memory failure--I have to adjust the regen mode to lowest each time as it defaults to medium (standard). My old R1T remembered my regen setting just fine so I know they can do it...
