What would I like to see - new R1T owner - June 2023...
Way points
Easier way to get the trip data and odometer.
When scheduling have a schedule time on - without having to schedule a time off - i.e. start at 1 am and don't turn off until desired % is reached.
Way less pressure to get the truck...
I haven't done any - I would think it would be minimal - but for short drives and ease of set-up I think I may prefer the tailgate pad. Also you may need to turn off the rear sensors even with the pad.
I just got from Amazon the GoHimal mtb paid. Fits pretty well but not sure about long distances but here is what it looks like installed and I did put a bungie cord to keep it from swaying. I took it for a drive around the neighborhood and it seemed very secure. I think it is listed on Amazon...
Just worked with Hi IQ Electrical that i asked them to change my nema 14-50 converted to a hard-wired Tesla J1772 wall charger - and a few other small things - such as putting an access hole from the garage to outside to pass the charging cable through to where the Rivian was. Very...
Has anyone seen the price of this pad. I just got one for $+-68 - from Amazon - as I don't go mountain biking that often. I will see if it works as intended.
Do you guys think it will have the "Rivian" markup. Fox tailgate pads range from $100 - $200. Let's see how much this Rivian designed...
Where is the best place to charge a Rivian in Columbus, Ga (off of 185) - I can only find a 60kw - ChargePoint - Bradley Park. It this the fastest charging in Columbus Ga. Thanks for the help.
Also any charging in Bainbridge Ga as well. Please share.
Please keep us updated...this is only worrisome for me is if it is causing more damage as time goes on and could render the vehicle undriveable. Also, a small concern is the unlikely warranty denial by Rivian due to the fact that I didn't report it early enough....which I know is unlikely but...
I have not..it seems to be very faint and just at very low speeds going forward..trying not to be too critical but I will keep on top of it to make sure it does not get any worse.
I think you are right..it is hard to look at the designed space for the power cover and nothings there..may be getting more range because my truck is lighter...lol..I hope the manual one works for me, I would think Rivian would have done their homework on both covers this time around.
Just took delivery last week and have on order the manual tonneau cover..maybe July? Not sure how this is going to work in the long run..to much of a pain to take on or off? I know the manual cover has a monster price of $1,800 so I can't imagine the cost of the improved power cover..$2,500...
Just picked up my R1T and hear a clicking - sounds like a stone caught in the tread ( it isn't) - any issue I should be concerned about? Or is this "within spec"..lol. (less than 200 miles on the truck).
I just tested the lectron adapter (mine is completely black and got some heft to it - appears to be well made - I wonder if there are different versions) with my Gen 2 Telsa wall charger - 40 amp as i only have a 50 amp circuit. It was very cool and getting about 9kw - 18mph - but I didn't...
Glad no one was hurt. This type of damage doesn't look that bad on the surface but with the few other estimate on repairs for a banged up Rivian on a few youtube videos...This is probably totaled. I think this may be an issue with Rivian vehicles is the repairability...with large integrated...
Wow...very unlucky..it would seem that this would have been noted before you traveled all that way to pick up your truck. These trucks are nearing $100k and they need to be delivered as such. I know new company etc..but quality control should be a top priority...even at the price before the...
Second impressions...the truck rides very well...It has the potential to be a road trip machine - reliable charging may be the limiting factor.
One thing that is going to take some time is the throttle response. For backing up - when on "hold" it takes a lot of pressure (movement) to get...
Good luck...I think your are going like the OF interior. I did notice while driving today that plenty of heat was coming off the windshield and heating up the top of the dashboard. For the first time I am thinking of getting the windshield tinted - light tint if any but trying to reduce the...
