This police officer needs to be retrained or fired 😡 When people speak of bad apples, here it is. 0 integrity or professionalism. On any other job if you sucked that much at it, you'd be fired.
Yup we talked about it even when you were visiting... that's why I try to mostly keep to High. This one looked scary to a less experienced off-roader. Another consideration for me is that I don't have the underbody shield, nor do I have rock sliders (for now!), so if anything is to happen...
Throughout most of the off-roading I kept it at High (not Highest). On this particular part though I put it on Highest as the clearance was a close call just moments before on the climb up. In all fairness, that obstacle looked scary before attempting it, the other person I was with - Marco -...
It was extremely slippery. My wife was going out every now and then to spot for me + shoot some videos, and she said it felt like walking on ice. So there were several slippages like that. With that said, I've noticed that even though I have a Dual Motor, the car would apply breaks to wheels...
I am very new to off-roading (this was my 3rd time) with no formal training so I am learning on the go. I learned that about the hills, in all fairness this one was actually before entering the park and super easy (we weren't aired down or in all terrain mode even), but yes, going forward I was...
Haha I fear that if I went much under 36psi they would just separate from the rims. But in all fairness, the off-roading went amazingly well. We did NOT go to black trails (the hardest) but we did several blue trails (medium difficulty) without issues. In this park there is a Rubicon style rock...
Yes, aired down to 36psi.
Fun fact - after we were done and airing back up, the compressor didn't turn off at 48psi for some reason, and we only noticed it when it was 76psi or so. We immediately stopped it and aired down to 48psi but I am amazed that the tires didn't blow up.
Best to mail to my home address so it doesn't get lost in the frenzy of all deliveries. Also let me know tracking once you do and for the record it's best to cut by the 60" length and count say 20" length.
Hey folks
Sharing another off-roading fun. It was a last minute decision to go off-roading at Hollister Hills SVRA this Saturday, and CJ and Marco from the Bay Area Rivian Club joined. CJ unfortunately couldn't stay long so hopefully next time...
Another one of these where you look at an...
For the record - I just developed A pillar that wraps around. So future customers will get that too.
Also for the record I think it looks really weird on the R1S...I am not keeping it. I can see how it can make visual sense on the R1T, given that the R1T's windows are otherwise "framed" by Color...
Different people, different tastes/needs. You can have a $500 painting on your wall or a $10,000,000 one. Some people will be fine with the $500, some won't. Doesn't make one right and the other wrong, just different needs/tastes/priorities. I for one am fine with the $500 :) I like how my R1S...
I could easily scale it 1/20 but I don't believe that will work at all. For instance, all panels for the Color PPF kit wrap around the edges. The rear door of the die cast model does not seem to open (based on videos I saw), that means that the edge of that door and it's neighboring panels...
I like it! I will make it and include it in the kit shortly.
I don't know, to be honest it doesn't make much economic sense because it will be a cheap product requiring a lot of manual handling because people will want it in different colors we don't stock, and ordering small quantities is a...
I am team stealth (matte) too :)
I wrapped my R1S in color PPF (matte) and recently a customer got his Forest Green R1S wrapped by us in our Stealth wrap. Here are photos:
