How much are you looking to get for the wheels? And depends on whether you're including the tires or not and how much tread they have left.
There are a few posts in the California subforum of people trying to sell all 4 wheels and tires for $1k or even $500 and apparently not getting any takers.
That doesn't make much sense. If it's too cold for the coolant to be viscous then the charger should want to charge at a higher current, so as to create more power losses which in turn will heat up the coolant and make it more viscous.
Nope. That doesn't add up to $1800. And reg fees vary by state.
The $1800 is most definitely the destination charge. It's not a Rivian thing, all manufacturers are legally obligated to charge the same destination charge for all vehicles regardless of whether they're delivering the vehicle 10...
I'd wait at least until Monday/Tuesday before making a definitive statement like this. December 1st falling on a Sunday, and no new incentives announced could be just due to the weekend.
It really depends.
If it's 10F outside, but you're driving at noon on a non-windy and sunny day with 5 people in the car you'll probably be comfortable wearing short sleeves without heat on. Body heat and sun heat create a lot of warmth.
If it's 10F and windy and you're driving solo at...
Why are people deliberately ignoring what was posted by me and others upthread? Plugging it in in extreme cold can actually cause it to LOSE MORE RANGE than if it was unplugged. All of the energy will go into trying(unsuccessfully) to heat the battery pack. You'll still end up with a...
Totally agree with you that it does not NEED to be Connect+ that provides the data connection. Phone hotspot is an alternative way to get the data connection and has been proven to work.
But DATA is a feature of Connect+. I don't think anyone would argue that fact. Casting is another...
You absolutely do need Connect+ for 'DATA to access music streaming apps'. Word order matters.
I sincerely hope you're right that casting will work without paying for Connect+. But Rivian has been crystal clear that that's not the case. I guess we'll see in a month or two.
This is just wrong. Look at how Rivian describes Connect+ at https://rivian.com/support/article/what-is-connect
Connect+ brings media, connectivity and live security to your Rivian with features like:
In-vehicle hotspot
Satellite Images
Alexa Connected commands
Data to access music streaming...
If the extension cord is (mostly) in the room that you want to heat then resistive heating in the cord is fine. Afterall, the heater itself is just a resistive heater, so whether you dissipate the heat in the heater or in the cord it still serves the same purpose of heating up the room.
To me, this feels a lot more like ~late 2016 Tesla. A few years under their belt, just released Gen2 of their premium vehicle(yeah Tesla had X and S, but both are high priced cars), and still ~2 years away from really ramping up volume manufacturing of their "affordable" car.
That's pretty cool. Does that mean the residual and MF of each vehicle are encoded somewhere in the Rivian listing information? I presume you need those numbers to do the lease calculator. If so, it would be nice to know how to get to those numbers directly.
Where do you see that? When I look at these two vehicles both of which have an $81,150 MSRP, the monthly lease payment difference is only $30. Additionally 2024s won't qualify for the $3k hybrid/ice incentive, whereas 2025s will((Well not these becaue they're standard pack, but large packs...
I'll soon be taking delivery of an R1S, and it has free stealth PPF already applied at the factory. I'm not the type of person that keeps my cars very clean in the past, and this is not something that I would have ever paid for. However I do like the way it gives the car a matte kind of look...
