From what I've seen (at least from user reported activity through various forums and social media portals) there are about 9 or so 'documented' (in some way shape or form) non-employee R1S deliveries that are at some verifiable stage in the process at present. The locations are pretty well...
Kanundrum I see that you have over 3000 posts in this forum. I'm going to suggest to you that might be a bit excessive and you just might be obsessing over this vehicle in a manner that is less than healthy. Just a thought.
Well I bet August 16th at the start of this thread. Just saw a post on Facebook where a fellow received his notification to start the delivery process. While technically he hasn't 'received delivery' I'm going to take a victory lap for calling August 16th anyway. Suspect for sure, but heck...
The reason I ask is without it I'm below 80k and with it I'm above. I did sign the binding purchase agreement that was recently sent out but even Rivian admits it isn't bulletproof so staying below 80k if possible would be the safest to preserve tax credit. That being said if it can't be...
For those of you who have already taken delivery of the R1T and who purchased the underbody shield. Does this look like a part that can be 'bolted on' after taking delivery of the vehicle or is it one of those where it pretty much needs to be done 'at the factory as the truck is being built. I...
I think in almost all cases the majority of driving of consumer vehicles will be on road vs. off road so no disagreement at all there. My comment was simply pointing to the fact that the ETron is a crossover whereas the Rivian is not, so there is quite a significant difference in off road...
It's a nice looking vehicle. Not really in the same class as the R1S in terms off off road, but it sounds like that wasn't one of your primary uses of it anyway. Enjoy!
While I understand the sentiment your describing honestly I like to get more information rather than less on these vehicles so I don't mind who pipes up about them (employee or non-employee) That being said I think what you are describing is somewhat akin to the feeling of standing in a 'bread...
That's weird. There is nothing in your configuration that triggers a delay as far as I'm aware. You might want to reach out again as I believe you should have an updated delivery window based on your pre order date and configuration. Unless you live in a non serviced area
I'm in that same boat. August/Sept delivery but no guide contact. It stands ro reason that those who had guide contact and a revised delivery of Aug/Sep would be at the front of the line (and rightly so given their pre order dates) bit hard to predict given all the variables and track record.
That's a very interesting piece of information. That would strongly suggest that the first customer deliveries would be more in the September time frame vs August
I'm guessing that those who got guides earlier in the year AND had an updated delivery window of August/September should be hearing something very soon. At least a few of them.
